We are excited to announce that our team has moved to a new location in the heart of Marine Park in Brooklyn. We spent the previous ten years in a building a few miles away from our new location, our old office served us well, and we made great memories there, but we couldn’t be more excited about our new space.

The new office is actually a storefront on Flatbush Ave in Marine Park, putting us right on the street and looking out onto Flatbush Avenue’s main intersection. We’re excited about the hustle and bustle happening outside our windows and all of the great restaurants and businesess within an easy walking distance of the new location.

While we were happy with our space, there were several motivating factors to make a move:

Space: When we first moved into our last office, there were six of us and plenty of room. When we left, there were sixteen of us and space was getting tight. The new office offered more square footage, but more importantly it allowed us to rethink our layout. We were able to start from scratch by knocking down walls and putting up others that better fit our team and how we’re growing. Overall, we now have more of an open plan so we’re all working closer together rather than a more compartmentalized layout at our last place.

Visibility: In our last office, we were on the second floor of a building surrounded by a dozen other firms. While we really liked our neighbors, we lived a pretty anonymous existence. There was no way for anyone in the community outside of that building to know we existed, and we’re hoping our new location in Marine Park will help bolster our visibility in the area and help us more quickly come to mind as local businesses and non-profits decide to take on Bevel as their payment processor.

Location: What a difference a few miles can make. Our last office was within immediate walking distance of three restaurants and one coffeeshop. The new space is in Marine Park and puts us within easy walking of more than a dozen great restaurants (Starbucks and Dunkin Donuts are just a few of our favorites), three different coffee shops and plenty more. The location lets our team take advantage of all the offerings in the area. We’re all huge advocates for this community, and we’re excited that our office location now furthers that commitment.

It has been an exciting ten years for Bevel, and we look at this new location as the start of another chapter in our history.  We’re still working on getting settled in and adding artwork to the walls, but we’re incredibly excited to be in the new space. We’ll be hosting a happy hour soon for local clients, and if you’re in the area, feel free to stop in and say hi!
